TV Mounting in Rogers Park

Home to Loyola University Chicago and some of the city's most diverse housing stock, from lakefront high-rises to courtyard apartment buildings. We mount TVs in dorm-style studios and vintage six-flats alike, all at the same published prices.

Same published prices as everywhere else we serve: $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with mounting hardware included and no trip fee for Rogers Park. Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, or soundbar mounting are available if you want them.

Homes in Rogers Park

A lot of Rogers Park housing went up in the 1910s and 1920s, and much of it has since been converted to condos or kept as rentals. Expect plaster on the interior walls, often over wood lath, and outer walls of solid brick with the plaster applied right onto the masonry. Radiators sit under many of the windows, which takes some wall space off the table for a TV. On lath walls we find the studs before drilling instead of trusting a hollow spot, and on masonry walls we switch to anchors rated for brick. Both are included in the base price.

Just Moved to Rogers Park?

Just got the keys to a Rogers Park condo or apartment? Most units have one obvious TV wall in the front room. The bedrooms are where people stall, since a radiator and a window often claim the best spots. Settle every room in the first week: the living room, the primary bedroom, a second bedroom used as an office, maybe a small screen in the kitchen. If your building assigns move-in times for the elevator or the back stairs, booking the TVs right after keeps all the coming and going in the same week. The booking form takes up to 5 TVs, so put them all on one appointment.

Shelves, pictures, or furniture assembly during the same visit — $80/hr, billed on site in 1-hour increments. Not included in the install total below.

Is Any Of This Going On Tile?

Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.

Frequently Asked

My Rogers Park apartment has radiators under the windows. Where can the TV go?
Usually on an interior wall rather than right above a radiator. Rising heat isn't good for a TV, and the radiator also limits where furniture can sit. We'll look at the room with you and pick a wall with studs or solid masonry behind it, then hide the wires with a $35 raceway strip or a $60 in-wall run.
Will a TV hold on the old plaster walls in my Rogers Park condo?
Yes, when it's anchored to the framing or the masonry instead of the plaster itself. Plaster is brittle, so we find the studs behind lath walls and use brick-rated anchors on masonry walls. Every install carries a lifetime warranty: if a TV we mounted comes loose, sags or goes off level, we fix it free for as long as you own that TV in that home.
Do you install TVs in Rogers Park?
Yes — we install and mount TVs throughout Rogers Park and the rest of Far North Side, usually with same-day or next-day availability.
How much does TV mounting cost in Rogers Park?
TV mounting is $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with a lifetime warranty on every install. For 75″ and up, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. The wall doesn't change the price except tile (+$50), and optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount or in-wall wire concealment are priced separately.
Is there a trip fee for Rogers Park?
No. Our published prices are the same everywhere we serve in Chicago, including Rogers Park — no trip charges, no hidden fees.
