📞 (630) 592-2982TV Mounting in Albany Park
One of the most linguistically diverse neighborhoods in the country, packed with courtyard apartment buildings, two-flats, and bungalows along the river. We've mounted TVs in just about every building type Albany Park has to offer.
Same published prices as everywhere else we serve: $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with mounting hardware included and no trip fee for Albany Park. Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, or soundbar mounting are available if you want them.

Homes in Albany Park
Two-flats in Albany Park often follow a long, narrow plan: a front room facing the street, bedrooms off a hallway, and the kitchen at the back. The front room frequently has a bay window and a radiator, which leaves a side wall as the natural TV wall. In masonry buildings, the outside walls are often brick under the plaster and take masonry anchors. Ravenswood Manor, the riverside pocket on the east end, has single-family homes from the 1910s and 1920s with plaster over lath, where we find each stud before drilling.
Just Moved to Albany Park?
Taking over a unit in an Albany Park two-flat, or buying the whole building? The walls are bare right now, and that's the time to mount. In a typical unit the TVs end up in the front room, the primary bedroom, and the back bedroom that turns into an office or kids' room. Owners who live in the building sometimes add the garden unit or the basement too. All of it can happen in one visit, with wires hidden while the floors are still clear of boxes and furniture. Use one booking for every TV, up to five.

Shelves, pictures, or furniture assembly during the same visit — $80/hr, billed on site in 1-hour increments. Not included in the install total below.
Is Any Of This Going On Tile?
Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.
