A large, diverse suburb home to the Illinois Holocaust Museum and bordering Old Orchard, with everything from vintage brick homes to newer condo developments. Same published prices as the rest of our service area, starting at $100.
Same published prices as everywhere else we serve: $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with mounting hardware included and no suburban premium for Skokie. Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, or soundbar mounting are available if you want them.

Homes in Skokie
Skokie's housing comes in two waves. A smaller set of brick bungalows and Tudor-style homes dates from the 1920s, when the village was still called Niles Center, and a much larger wave of ranches, Georgians and split-levels went up during the population boom after World War II. Many homes from both eras have plaster walls; in the older ones it's often on wood lath, which is heavier and harder to drill cleanly, so we take it slowly. Condo and apartment buildings are a different job, with concrete or metal studs to anchor into and building rules to plan around.
Just Moved to Skokie?
Moving into a postwar Skokie house often means a finished basement, two or three bedrooms, and a living room built around a picture window. That window usually decides which wall the TV goes on, since a screen facing it picks up glare. A full setup might be the living room, basement, primary bedroom, a second bedroom and the kitchen or a home office: five TVs, which is also the most the booking form takes at once. Handling them in one visit keeps the drilling to one day, and in-wall wiring gets done before the painters come through. Get all five on the calendar together.

While We're There — Hourly Add-Ons
Shelves, pictures, or furniture assembly during the same visit — $80/hr, billed on site in 1-hour increments. Not included in the install total below.
Is Any Of This Going On Tile?
Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.
