TV Mounting in Park Ridge

A leafy, established suburb just west of O'Hare, full of classic brick homes and a walkable Uptown Park Ridge business district. We're out here often and know the housing stock well.

Same published prices as everywhere else we serve: $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with mounting hardware included and no suburban premium for Park Ridge. Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, or soundbar mounting are available if you want them.

Homes in Park Ridge

Park Ridge has a deep stock of older homes: brick Georgians, Tudors, colonials and Cape Cods, many from the 1920s through the 1950s, with new construction going up where older houses were torn down. The older homes often have plaster walls and a wood-burning fireplace with a brick or stone surround, which is where most people want the TV. Over masonry, we drill into the brick or stone itself with hardware rated for it, and we check the mantel depth and how much heat reaches the wall. The newer builds are usually drywall over wood studs, which makes in-wall wiring and a new outlet behind the TV simpler.

Just Moved to Park Ridge?

The first TV most people picture in a Park Ridge house goes over the fireplace, and the rest follow from there: the family room, the primary bedroom, the finished basement, maybe a sunroom or home office. If the fireplace spot puts the screen too high for comfortable viewing, a MantelMount pull-down mount brings it to eye level when you're watching. Putting every room on one appointment means the in-wall wiring all happens in one pass, before you patch and paint, and before bookcases and art go up. One booking request covers up to 5 TVs, so send the whole house.

Is Any Of This Going On Tile?

Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.

Frequently Asked

My Park Ridge home has a brick fireplace. Can the TV go above it?
Usually, yes. We drill into the brick with masonry bits and use anchors rated for it, rather than relying on the mortar joints. Before mounting, we look at the mantel depth and ask how often you use the fireplace, since heat rising off the firebox matters for the TV. Brick is included in the price; tile is the only wall that adds a surcharge.
Our 1940s Park Ridge colonial has plaster walls. Will mounting a TV crack them?
Not when it's done carefully. We find the studs, confirm them with a small test hole that the TV will cover, and drill the plaster slowly so it doesn't chip around the bolts. The mount is bolted into the studs, so the plaster isn't carrying the weight. If the TV ever comes loose or goes off level, the lifetime install warranty covers the fix.
Do you install TVs in Park Ridge?
Yes — we install and mount TVs throughout Park Ridge and the surrounding area, usually with same-day or next-day availability.
How much does TV mounting cost in Park Ridge?
TV mounting is $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with a lifetime warranty on every install — no suburban upcharge. For 75″ and up, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. The wall doesn't change the price except tile (+$50), and optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount or in-wall wire concealment are priced separately.
