The Lee Street site of Ray Kroc's first franchised McDonald's — the replica museum there was demolished in 2018, but the history is still local lore — and a genuine mix of housing from vintage bungalows to newer subdivisions near the Metra line. We're regulars out here.
Same published prices as everywhere else we serve: $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with mounting hardware included and no suburban premium for Des Plaines. Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, or soundbar mounting are available if you want them.

Homes in Des Plaines
Housing in Des Plaines spans about a century. Older houses near downtown often have plaster walls and sometimes original radiators. Farther out, the postwar ranches and split-levels have plaster or drywall over wood studs. Downtown also has newer mid-rise condo buildings near the Metra station, where interior walls are often metal studs and some walls are concrete. Each needs different hardware: lag bolts into wood, heavy toggles into metal studs, sleeve or wedge anchors into concrete. We bring all of it, so the wall type doesn't change your price unless it's tile.
Just Moved to Des Plaines?
Closing on a Des Plaines house usually comes with a long to-do list, and TVs move near the top once the boxes are inside. Instead of mounting one now and the rest later, plan the rooms together: family room, primary bedroom, basement, the kids' rooms, an office. If a new outlet is going behind the living room TV or wires are going inside the walls, it's easier to handle every room while you're still choosing paint colors. Bought one of the downtown condos instead? Then one visit also means one elevator reservation. Book them all at once, up to 5 on the form.

Shelves, pictures, or furniture assembly during the same visit — $80/hr, billed on site in 1-hour increments. Not included in the install total below.
Is Any Of This Going On Tile?
Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.
