TV Mounting in Lincoln Park

From classic greystone two-flats near DePaul to sleek high-rises along the lakefront, Lincoln Park has some of the most varied wall types in the city. Plaster, brick, drywall — we bring the right anchors for whatever your building throws at us.

Same published prices as everywhere else we serve: $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with mounting hardware included and no trip fee for Lincoln Park. Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, or soundbar mounting are available if you want them.

Homes in Lincoln Park

Some of Lincoln Park's oldest houses are in Old Town Triangle and Sheffield, where Victorian rowhouses and frame homes went up in the decades after the 1871 fire. Many have since been gut-rehabbed, so a 19th-century front can hide new drywall, steel beams and modern wiring, while the house next door still has original plaster and tall ceilings. Rowhouses often share a masonry wall with the neighbors, so the long living room wall may be brick under the finish. We figure out what's there before drilling, use masonry anchors where it's brick, and run in-wall wiring only where the wall can be opened cleanly.

Just Moved to Lincoln Park?

A Lincoln Park move often means a large single-family house with room for a TV almost everywhere: the family room, a finished lower level, the primary suite, kids' bedrooms, and sometimes a rooftop deck or patio. If the house was just finished, the walls are clean and the floors are bare, which is the easiest time for us to work. Mount everything now and the drop cloths and drilling are over before rugs, art and furniture arrive. One booking holds up to 5 TVs; list each room and we'll plan the order.

Is Any Of This Going On Tile?

Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.

Frequently Asked

My rowhouse has a marble mantel with plaster above it. Can a TV go over the fireplace without damaging anything?
In most cases, yes. Above an older fireplace there's usually a brick chimney behind the plaster, so we drill slowly through the plaster and anchor into the masonry. If the mantel is high, a MantelMount pull-down lets the TV come down to eye level and fold back up. We look at heat and the mantel's depth before recommending either option.
Can you mount on the concrete walls in my high-rise condo near the zoo?
Yes. Poured concrete takes a hammer drill and anchors rated for concrete, and it costs nothing extra. Some walls in high-rises are metal studs with drywall instead, which take different hardware, so we check which you have before drilling. Many buildings limit drilling hours, so let us know your building's rules when you book.
Do you install TVs in Lincoln Park?
Yes — we install and mount TVs throughout Lincoln Park and the rest of North Side, usually with same-day or next-day availability.
How much does TV mounting cost in Lincoln Park?
