Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Homes in Lake View

Most Lake View addresses are condos or apartments in buildings of three units or more: vintage three-flats and six-flats split into condos, long walk-ups, and newer masonry buildings squeezed in between older ones. Is Any Of This Going On Tile?

Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.

Yes. We're insured and can send a certificate of insurance on request. Buildings often want specific wording, such as the condo association or management company named as certificate holder, so forward the management office's requirements when you book. Ask them about freight elevator reservations and permitted work hours too, since many buildings apply those to contractors.
I'm putting an 85″ TV in my third-floor walk-up unit. Anything I should know before booking?
TVs 75″ and up take two people to lift onto the mount. If you're able to help lift, there's no extra charge; if not, we bring a second installer for $75 per visit. It helps to have the TV already in the unit. Walk-up interiors are often plaster on lath, which we handle at no extra cost.
