Is Any Of This Going On Tile?

Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.

Our Northfield house has an addition. Will the TV wall in the new part be different?
Often, yes. Additions are usually drywall on wood studs, while the original house may be plaster, so the hardware can change from one room to the next. Running wires between the old and new sections can hit extra framing where they join. You'll know on the day if in-wall concealment (+$60) is possible there, or if an external raceway (+$35) makes more sense.
