Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Homes in Golf

There is no standard Golf house. The village is a small set of single-family homes built and rebuilt over many decades, a lot of them on generous lots with mature trees, so a single block can put an original older home next to a recent build. Is Any Of This Going On Tile?

Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.

My house in Golf has a tall stone fireplace. Can the TV go above it without ending up too high?
Yes. Stone and brick take masonry anchors, which are included in the price. Height is the bigger issue: over a tall mantel, a fixed TV can sit well above eye level. A MantelMount pull-down mount (we're an authorized dealer) lets you bring the screen down to a comfortable height when you watch and push it back up when you're done.
Some rooms in my older Golf home were renovated and some weren't. Does that change anything?
It changes the hardware, not the price. Renovated rooms are usually drywall on wood studs. Original rooms may have plaster, which is harder and can crack if it's drilled carelessly. We locate the studs first, drill plaster slowly, and lag the mount into the framing. Plaster, brick and concrete are all included; tile is the only wall that adds $50.
