Home to New Trier High School and some of the most architecturally significant homes on the North Shore, from grand vintage estates to Hubbard Woods bungalows. We treat every home here with the care it deserves.
Same published prices as everywhere else we serve: $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with mounting hardware included and no suburban premium for Winnetka. Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, or soundbar mounting are available if you want them.

Homes in Winnetka
A large share of Winnetka houses date from the early 1900s through the 1930s: Tudor Revival, Georgian, Colonial and Prairie-style homes with heavy plaster walls, wood-paneled libraries and dens, and wood-burning fireplaces with stone or brick surrounds. That plaster can be close to an inch thick over wood lath, so studs take patience to find and short screws won't reach solid wood. We use longer lag bolts, drill slowly so the plaster doesn't crack, and treat paneling as finished woodwork, agreeing on placement with you before making any holes. Newer homes and rebuilds in the village are mostly drywall and simpler to work on.
Just Moved to Winnetka?
Families settling into Winnetka often want TVs in more rooms than an older house was laid out for. The usual list runs to the family room off the kitchen, the living room or library over the fireplace, the primary bedroom, a lower-level rec room, and a home office. In a plaster house, every in-wall run means opening and patching, and it is much easier to do all of them in one visit and have the painter come once. It also keeps the TV work ahead of the rugs, art and window treatments. Put the full room list in when you book.

While We're There — Hourly Add-Ons
Shelves, pictures, or furniture assembly during the same visit — $80/hr, billed on site in 1-hour increments. Not included in the install total below.
Is Any Of This Going On Tile?
Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.
