📞 (630) 592-2982TV Mounting in Kenilworth
One of the smallest and most affluent suburbs in Illinois, with a tight cluster of grand historic homes near the lake. A small, exceptional community — we're glad to serve it.
Same published prices as everywhere else we serve: $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with mounting hardware included and no suburban premium for Kenilworth. Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, or soundbar mounting are available if you want them.

Homes in Kenilworth
Kenilworth was laid out in the 1890s as a planned community, and many of its houses date from then through the 1920s and 30s, with stucco, brick and shingle exteriors and solid plaster inside. Most have been restored, updated or added onto over the years, so one house can combine original plaster rooms, a newer drywall kitchen wing, and a finished basement set up as a media room. On original walls we map the framing precisely before drilling and go slowly so the plaster stays intact. Brick and stone fireplace surrounds get masonry anchors set into sound brick or stone, not soft old mortar joints.
Just Moved to Kenilworth?
Settling into an older Kenilworth home usually happens in stages: contractors first, then movers, then decorating. TVs belong at the start of the decorating stage, after the construction dust is gone but before rugs, art and draperies go in. Typical spots are the family room, the living room, the primary bedroom, the basement media room and a study. Mounting all of them in one visit means plaster gets opened and patched once, and every wall is ready for paint at the same time. When you book, list each room and TV size so we show up with the right mounts.

While We're There — Hourly Add-Ons
Shelves, pictures, or furniture assembly during the same visit — $80/hr, billed on site in 1-hour increments. Not included in the install total below.
Is Any Of This Going On Tile?
Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.
