Much of Deerfield was built in the 1950s and 60s, and split-levels are a big part of the housing stock, along with raised ranches and two-story homes from the 70s and 80s. In my Deerfield split-level the family room is a half-floor below the kitchen. Can we see the TV from both?
Sometimes. A full-motion mount (+$100) lets you swing the screen toward the kitchen, then back toward the couch. We check sight lines before mounting, because in many split-levels a half-wall or railing blocks the view at certain heights. If one TV can't serve both spaces well, we'll tell you so you can decide on a second.

Yes. On block we set masonry anchors into the solid parts of the block rather than the hollow cells, sized for the TV's weight, and block and concrete are included in the price.
