Built around its distinctive traffic circle at the center of town, Elmwood Park is full of well-kept brick bungalows and two-flats. Same published prices as anywhere else on this list, no suburban upcharge.
Same published prices as everywhere else we serve: $100 for TVs up to 55″, $125 for 56″–74″ and $150 for 75″ and up, with mounting hardware included and no suburban premium for Elmwood Park. Bigger TVs take more care to lift and level, so we price in three simple size steps, published up front. The wall still doesn't change the price, except tile (+$50). On a 75″ or larger TV, lend a hand with the lift at no charge, or we bring a second installer for +$75 per visit. Every install carries our lifetime warranty — if a TV we mounted ever comes loose, sags or goes off level, we come back and fix it free — and we're insured. Optional add-ons like a tilting or full-motion mount, in-wall wire concealment, or soundbar mounting are available if you want them.

Homes in Elmwood Park
Much of Elmwood Park's housing dates from the 1920s through the 1950s, so walls here tend to be plaster, often over wood lath in the older houses. That plaster is hard and can be brittle, so we drill it slowly with sharp bits to keep it from cracking around the mount. Behind it, older framing is often full-size lumber, which holds a heavy TV well once we're in the center of a stud. Many older homes still heat with radiators, which take up wall space and rule out putting a TV directly above them. Brick exterior walls get masonry anchors.
Just Moved to Elmwood Park?
A two-flat in Elmwood Park can mean setting up two homes at once: your own unit and the one you rent out. Mounting the living room TVs in both units, plus your bedroom and the basement, is a single trip for us and one day of drilling for your tenants instead of several. In a single-family bungalow, the usual list is the living room, primary bedroom, basement and a kid's room. Either way, the best time is before rugs and furniture arrive, while there's space to work and nothing to move. Send every TV, from every unit, on one booking.

Shelves, pictures, or furniture assembly during the same visit — $80/hr, billed on site in 1-hour increments. Not included in the install total below.
Is Any Of This Going On Tile?
Tile is the one wall that costs extra — $50 per TV. It destroys drill bits, and it's the only surcharge we have. Plaster, brick and metal studs are all normal Chicago walls and stay included.
