TV Install Chicago

About Lance Lee

The person who actually shows up and drills the holes.

Who you're hiring

TV Install Chicago is owner-operated. When you call about a TV mounting job, you're talking to the person who does the work, not to a dispatcher passing it along.

[[OWNER: do you work entirely alone, or do you bring help on bigger jobs? Say it plainly here — a customer review on the home page mentions an assistant named Jeff, so "one-man business" would read as inconsistent if that's still the case.]]

That's also why the price is simple: $100 flat for a TV mount, any screen size, on drywall, plaster, brick or tile. The rate doesn't move because the TV got bigger or the wall got harder.

[[OWNER: two or three sentences introducing yourself in your own words — how long you have been mounting TVs in Chicago, and what you want a first-time customer to know about you before they book.]]

How this started

[[OWNER: how did you get into TV mounting? Previous trade, previous job, side work that grew, family business — whatever the real story is.]]

[[OWNER: what year did you start doing this in Chicago, and what year did TV Install Chicago become your main work?]]

[[OWNER: roughly how many installs have you done? Only put a number here if you can stand behind it — an honest "hundreds of homes across the North Side" is better than a made-up figure.]]

What I install

TV mounting is the core of it, but it isn't all of it. The work I take on regularly:

[[OWNER: is there any work on this list you would rather stop taking, or anything you do that isn't listed? This list was built from what the site already advertises.]]

How I work

A few things that are true of every job:

  • One price, said up front. $100 for a TV mount. No size upcharge, no wall-type upcharge, no suburban premium.
  • The TV comes out level. If it isn't, I fix it.
  • You get a person on the phone. Call or text (630) 592-2982; if I miss you, you get a text back.
  • English, español or polski. Call and press 1, 2, or 3 — you'll be answered in the language you picked.
  • I clean up. The drilling dust and the packaging leave with me.

[[OWNER: anything else that is genuinely your standard practice and that you'd be happy to be held to? Warranty or guarantee terms, what happens if a mount fails later, how you handle a job that turns out to be bigger than quoted.]]

Licensing, insurance and training

The one credential the site already states: I'm an authorized MantelMount dealer through my distributor.

[[OWNER: are you insured? If so, name the coverage type and, if you're comfortable, the carrier. If not, delete this line rather than leave it vague — customers ask.]]

[[OWNER: any City of Chicago or Illinois business licence / registration number you want shown?]]

[[OWNER: any trade training, certifications, or manufacturer programs beyond MantelMount — low-voltage, Ubiquiti, Home Assistant, BrightSign, anything else?]]

Where I work

Service-area business — I come to you. There is no shop or showroom to visit.

The city side is covered on the Chicago neighborhoods page; the suburban side is on the suburbs page. Broadly: the city of Chicago plus the northern suburbs from Norridge up to Lake Forest. Not sure whether you're in range? Call (630) 592-2982 and ask — I may still be able to reach you.
