You searched for someone nearby, so here's the honest answer: we're a Chicago TV mounting outfit, we charge $100 flat no matter where you are in our area, and there's no travel fee for being on the far side of it. Below is exactly where we go and what happens when you call.
“Near me” usually means “will they actually come out?”
When people search for a TV installer near them, the worry underneath it is normally one of two things: that nobody will travel to their address, or that being further out will quietly cost more. Both are fair worries. Plenty of handymen quote a price on the phone and then add a trip charge once they see the address.
We don't do that. The rate is $100 flat, any TV, any size, anywhere inside our service area. A one-bedroom in Rogers Park and a house in Northbrook pay the same. If you're outside the area, we'll tell you on the phone instead of padding the quote.
Where we actually go
Rather than claiming “all of Chicagoland” like everyone else, here's the real boundary:
In the city
Everything from roughly Cermak Road north — the Loop, West Loop, River North, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Logan Square, Wicker Park, Uptown, Andersonville, Rogers Park, Portage Park, Jefferson Park, Norwood Park and out to O'Hare.
North suburbs
Evanston, Skokie, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, Glencoe, Northbrook, Northfield, Glenview, Morton Grove, Niles, Lincolnwood, Golf and Park Ridge — up to about Lake Cook Road.
West & northwest
Des Plaines, Rosemont, Schiller Park, Norridge, Harwood Heights, Elmwood Park, Oak Park, Berwyn, Cicero, Melrose Park, Elmhurst, Addison, Itasca, Elk Grove Village, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Palatine and Schaumburg.

What happens when you call
You call or text (630) 592-2982. A person answers — not a form that emails you back tomorrow.
We ask three things: roughly what size the TV is, what the wall is made of, and whether you already have a mount. That's enough to know if it's a standard job.
You get a time. Same day is often possible — it depends on what's already booked, and we'll tell you honestly rather than promising and rescheduling.
We turn up, mount it level, tidy the cables, take the box and the packaging away, and you pay $100 plus any options you chose.
Why the wall matters more than the TV
Almost every “near me” search ends with someone worrying about the size of their television. In practice the TV is rarely the problem — an 85″ on timber studs is a straightforward job. What actually decides how a mount goes in is what's behind the drywall.
Chicago housing stock makes this genuinely varied. A 1920s two-flat on the Northwest Side is often plaster over lath, which hides the studs from a magnet and punishes guesswork. Downtown high-rises and a lot of newer construction use metal studs, which need different anchors and won't hold a lag bolt the way wood does. Older brick and concrete need masonry anchors and a hammer drill, not a driver.
This is the part that separates a mount that's solid in ten years from one that sags. It's also why we ask about the wall on the phone — it tells us far more than the screen size does.
Building or HOA asking for insurance?
Downtown condo towers and a lot of managed buildings won't let a contractor upstairs without a certificate of insurance on file, usually naming the association or management company. It catches people out constantly, because you only find out when the front desk turns the installer away.
If your building or HOA needs one, mention it when you book and we'll help you sort it.
Ask for it as early as you can rather than on the morning. Management companies often take a few days to review and approve the paperwork, and a certificate that turns up an hour before the appointment is the usual reason a job gets pushed to next week.
Common questions
Do you charge more if I'm further away?
No. $100 is $100 whether you're in the South Loop or up in Glencoe. No travel fee, no fuel surcharge.
Can you come today?
Often, yes. It depends what's already on the calendar — call and we'll tell you what's actually open rather than taking the booking and sorting it out later.
Does $100 include the mount itself?
That's the installation. If you already own a mount, $100 is all you pay. If you need one, mount options are priced separately so you can see what you're getting.
What if my wall turns out to be difficult?
Standard walls — wood stud, metal stud, plaster, brick — are all included in the flat rate. If a job genuinely needs more, like cutting a wall for in-wall cable concealment or an outlet behind the TV, that's a priced option you agree to before we start. Nothing gets added after the fact.
Do you take the box away?
Yes. Every install includes cleanup, and we'll take the packaging with us.
