What we install for businesses
Displays and multi-screen setups. One screen over a booth, or a wall of them behind a bar. Multiple displays need thinking about as a set — matched heights, tidy runs, and sources that reach every screen without a cable in sight.
Security cameras. Cameras, video doorbells and entry sensors for storefronts and offices, mounted, wired and tied into your recorder or your phone.
Sound systems. Speakers through a dining room, a patio, or a shop floor, run properly rather than a soundbar pointed at a room it can't fill.
Networking. We do Ubiquiti setups, which is usually what sits underneath a camera system or a handful of streaming displays once there's more than one of them.
Commercial jobs are different, and priced differently
The residential $100 flat rate is built around one TV in one living room. A business install isn't that, and pretending otherwise would mean quoting you badly.
What actually moves a commercial number: how many displays, whether cabling runs through a ceiling or a wall, whether there's an existing rack to tie into, and whether the work has to happen outside trading hours. A four-screen bar install with concealed runs is a different day from a single office display.
So commercial work is quoted per job. Tell us the space and what you want out of it, and you'll get a real figure rather than a range that moves once we're on site.
Certificates of insurance
Plenty of Chicago buildings won't let a contractor past the loading dock without a certificate of insurance on file, usually naming the management company or association as additional insured. Offices, condo towers and retail units in managed buildings all tend to want one.
If your building or HOA needs one, tell us when you book and we'll help you sort it.
The one piece of advice: raise it early rather than on the morning of the install. Management companies can take a few days to review and approve the paperwork, and a certificate that arrives at nine on the day is the most common reason a job gets turned away at the door.
Working around your hours
The part most businesses actually care about is not the mounting — it's not losing a service. A bar doesn't want a drill going at seven on a Friday, and an office doesn't want a ladder in reception mid-morning.
Most of our commercial work happens before opening, after close, or on a quiet weekday. Tell us your hours when you call and we'll build the job around them.
We also take the packaging away, which sounds trivial until four display boxes are stacked behind your bar during service.
